Certified Investment Fund Director Institute is a global, not-for-profit community of investment fund directors, offering world-leading, specialist qualifications in investment fund governance. Originally commissioned to create an identity and full roll-out of brand assets, over the years since it’s inception the project has evolved to a body of work of which we are very proud.
The brand mark was inspired by the guilloché patterns used on currencies, bonds and certificates. These intricate patterns were security devices, to ensure they were legitimate and could not be easily copied. We developed the mark as a guilloché set in gold, becoming the gold standard for fund directors to achieve. We also created a series of guilloché patterns for use throughout the brand roll-out, either as main illustrations or watermarks.
To create the series of guilloché patterns we employed specialist pattern-making software generating tens of designs prior to achieving the preferred results.
